Dan Clark
Dean, School of Education and Extended Learning
Dan holds a PhD in Adult Education from North Dakota State University and a Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, Development, and Evaluation from Syracuse University. His extensive experience in the fields of Adult and Distance Education includes leadership positions at Syracuse University, the University of Saint Joseph (CT), Valley City State University, Utah Valley University, and Western Oregon University. His current research interests include: certainty, uncertainty, and creativity in instructional design, ambiguity tolerance in the adult learner in atypical learning environments, redefining literacy, student-driven instructional design models, and the educational and social effects of Web_2.0 technologies. Dan resides in Tiffin with his wife Kim and their son Sam.
