  • No options for modalities such as image search or video at the moment

Google Gemini

Pros :

  • Free
  • Faster, often with more detail than ChatGPT
  • Can upload images for analysis and use voice to text

Cons :

  • Requires extensions for file uploading and better analysis
  • Prone to bias
  • Cannot currently be used with your TU email. You need another Gmail account to use Gemini.

Copilot

Cons :

  • 2,000 character limit

Pros :

  • Free to use
  • Can upload large documents for analysis
  • Great text and code output
  • Trained on more recent data

Cons :

  • 5mb image or doc file uploads
  • Not being integrated into Google or Microsoft
  • No internet connection

Out of Toronto, ideogram came out in August of 2023 outperfomring many other image generators.

Pros :

  • Renders text well
  • No usage limit (currently)

Cons :

  • Editing tools unavailable in free version
  • Lacks customization

Accessible only through the MidJourney Discord channel

Often credited with creating the best images, MidJourney is quirky with access only through Discord.

Pros :
